Preparation
- Serving size:12.40 oz (calculated)Notes: 1 chicken breast (6 oz or 170 g raw) and 1 cup of salsa
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness or cut them in half horizontally.
- Mix together the minced garlic, chopped cilantro, olive oil and spices for the chicken's marinade.
- Coat the chicken in the marinade. Let marinate for at least half an hour or even overnight.
- Chop the avocado, tomato, onion, deseeded jalapeno and cilantro.
- Toss in the lime juice and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- If preparing ahead of time, store in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Grill the chicken until it is done, about 3 to 5 minutes per side. Alternatively cook in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Serve the grilled chicken with a side of salsa.

- You can store the finished dish in an airtight container for 3 days in the fridge. Reheat the meat in the microwave, on the stovetop or in the oven.
