Preparation

  1. Serving size:

  2. Temperature: 392 °F
  1. Heat sugars and butter in a small pot and heat it, stirring occasionally. Mix water and potassium carbonate. Once the sugar-butter mixture boils, take it off the heat and add the potassium carbonate mixture while stirring. Let it cool until luke-warm. Add the other ingredients and knead the dough together. Roll it into 5 cm thick rolls, wrap them, and leave them to chill for at least 1 to 2 days, up to 2 weeks if you want to.
  2. When ready to bake, pre-heat the oven, then slice the roll into very thin slices, placing the slices on a baking sheet with baking paper, not too close together. Make for 6 to 7 minutes in the top of the oven..
