Preparation

  1. Serving size:
    5.20 oz (calculated)
    Notes: 125 g of halloumi (about 5 7/8 oz)
  1. Cut the halloumi into slices.
  2. Mince the garlic.
  3. Finely chop the mint leaves.
  4. Finely chop the deseeded chili.
  5. Mix together all the ingredients for the marinade. Depending on how salty your halloumi is, you may want to omit the salt in the marinade.
  6. Marinate the halloumi for at least half an hour or even overnight.
  7. In a pan over medium-high heat, fry the halloumi until it is golden-brown, about 4 minutes on each side. Alternatively, grill for about 3 minutes on each side.
  8. Enjoy drizzled with the remaining marinade.
  9. Meal Prep Tip

  10. You can store the marinated or fried halloumi in an airtight container for 5 days in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave, the oven or on the stovetop.
