Preparation
- Serving size:12.10 oz (calculated)Notes: 1 plate full, about 2 cups; sufficient as a main meal
- Cut the beef into strips about 1/4 in or 0.5cm thick.
- Combine the coconut aminos, oils, minced garlic and ginger to a marinade. If you do not have coconut aminos, you can also use soy sauce. Reduce the quantity to 1/3.
- Marinade the beef for at least half an hour at room temperature. You can also store it in an airtight container and marinade for up to 24 hours in the fridge.
- Separate the broccoli into florets.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add salt and blanch the broccoli for one or two minutes.
- Drain the broccoli and rinse it with cold water to stop it from continuing to cook.
- Heat a large pan over medium to high heat.
- Add the meat and brown, about 3 to 5 minutes depending on how done you want the beef to be.
- Add the broccoli and the marinade and cook until for 1 or 2 minutes, until the broccoli is warm again.
- Season to taste and serve topped with sesame seeds.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
