Preparation

  1. Serving size: 1 stuffed mushrooms; sufficient as a starter; plan in 2 to 3 for a main meal
  2. Temperature: 191 °C
  1. Clean some large portobello mushrooms, also removing their stems if present.
  2. Press the sausage meat into the mushrooms, leaving an indentation in the middle.
  3. Top with 1 tablespoons of ricotta, 1/2 tablespoon of tomato sauce and sprinkle with 1 tablespoons of grated cheese.
  4. Put in an oven-safe dish and bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven or until the sausage meat is fully cooked through.
  5. Serve a single mushroom as a starter, or 2 to 3 as a main.
